IPDC's Board of Directors has eleven members, of which two are nominated by the Government of Bangladesh.Mr. Sulaiman Ajanee, AKFEED Nominated Director, is the current Chairman of the Board, Seven Directors are nominated by AKFED, including the honorable Chairman.One is independent Director and the other one is the Managing Director & CEO of the company.

Mr. Sulaiman Ajanee
Nominated Director, AKFED

Mr. Sulaiman Ajanee is an Associate in Industrial Engineering. Mr. Ajanee is the Vice Chairman, National Committee, Aga Khan Foundation and the Chairman, Aga Khan Education Service, Bangladesh. He is a member on the Board of Directors of IPDC since January 2004.

K. H. Masud Siddiqui
Nominated Director, GOB
Mr. K. H. Masud Siddiqui completed his B.A. (Hon’s) and M.A. in Bengali Language and Literature from Dhaka University and M.A. in Economics from Manchester University, UK. He worked as an UNO, Tungipara, Gopalgonj; Director, Prime Minister Office, Deputy Secretary, Power Division; Chairman, SPARSODG, Disaster Management Bureau; Deputy National Project Director, Comprehensive Disaster Management Programme (CDMP); Chairperson of Governing Body, SAARC Disaster Management Centre (SDMC), New Delhi. Additional Secretary, Ministry of Communication. Chairman, Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC); Member Resources Persons Pool (RPP), Ministry of Establishment. Presently Mr. Siddiqui is working as Secretary, Ministry of Industries, Government of Bangladesh. Moreover, he is the Chairman, KAFCO, Director, IPDC of Bangladesh Limited Director of British American Tobacco (Bangladesh) Limited and Director of Sanofi Aventis (Bangladesh) Limited.

Mr. Siddiqui is a Director on the Board of IPDC since September 2010.

Syed Monjurul Islam
Nominated Director, GOB
Mr. Syed Monjurul Islam is a career civil servant. He passed B.Com. (Hons.) from University of Dhaka majoring in Finance and also did his MBA (Finance) from IBA of the same university. Later he pursued a PGD in ‘Development Planning Techniques’ from the ‘Institute of Social Studies’ of The Netherlands.
Mr. Islam has been working for the Government of Bangladesh for the last 27 years as a member of Bangladesh Civil Service (Administration) cadre. He worked in different Ministry/Division and organizations of the Government in progressively higher position. However, he mostly worked in the area of Public Finance and Commerce.
Mr. Islam is now working as Additional Secretary at Finance Division, Ministry of Finance, Government of Bangladesh.
Mr. Altaf Hussain 
Nominated Director, AKFED
Mr. Altaf Hussain is a Master of Commerce from Hailey College of Commerce (secured 1st class 2nd position in Punjab University). He is a Gold Medalist from the same college as he topped in Punjab University and set a new record in his B.Com. (Hons.) Degree. He is a veteran banker and served Habib Bank Limited, a leading international bank of Pakistan for about 39 years in various positions. He has extensively worked on overseas assignments which include his posting as Regional General Manager-Gulf, General Manager-Bahrain and Managing Director of a Finance Company in Kuwait. Prior to his retirement, he was the Senior Executive Vice President of Habib Bank Limited. He is a Director on the Board of IPDC since May 2005
Mr. Mansoor Ali Halari
Nominated Director, AKFED
Mr. Mansoor Ali Halari is working at Habib Bank Limited (HBL) as Senior Manager - Special Projects. He is an experienced banker and has worked at The Royal Bank of Scotland, ABN AMRO Bank, NIB Bank and PICIC Commercial Bank. He started his career as Programmer Analyst at Information Systems Department, Aga Khan University Hospital (Karachi, Pakistan).
Mr. Halari is a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (USA). He is Master in Business Administration (majoring in MIS and Finance) from the Institute of Business Administration (Karachi, Pakistan) and Bachelor in Computer Science from FAST-ICS (Karachi, Pakistan).
Mr. Halari has attended training programmes encompassing credit analysis, risk management, corporate risk assessment, microfinance, international trade, etc.
Mr. Alauddin A. Majid
Independent Director
Mr. Alauddin A. Majid, a celebrated banker, has an outstanding track of professional and academic record. He completed his B.S. & M.S. from American University of Beirut, Lebanon. Later on, he completed another Masters in Agricultural Economics from University of Sydney, Australia. Mr. Majid started his glorious career-journey as Senior Analytical Chemist of Parsons Basil in Saudi Arabia. Then he worked as Staff Agronomist and Chemist in Esso Pakistan Fertilizer Co. Ltd. in Pakistan. He served as Senior Agronomist in Prakaushali Sangsad Ltd. Later on, he worked in various banks, namely, Bangladesh Krishi Bank, Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank, Agrani Bank and BASIC Bank Limited. From 1996 to 2001, Mr. Majid was the Managing Director of BASIC Bank Limited. He also worked in Fareast Finance & Investment Limited as its Managing Director. A man of versatile profile, Mr. Majid is the Chairman of Data Edge Ltd. and a Member in the Board of Grameen Foundation.
Mr. Altaf Ramzi
Nominated Director, AKFED.

Mr. Altaf Ramzi, a successful professional, has an illustrious track of record. After graduating in Commerce from University of Karachi, Pakistan, he joined the Bank of Credit and Commerce International (SA) Limited [BCCI] in 1981 as an officer in International Cadre. He then served in BCCI in various capacities and was posted in Egypt, Pakistan and London. He was a Consultant in Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu – a London-based Chartered Accountants firm. He also held the position of Marketing Manager of Signet Enterprises Limited, UK. Coming to Bangladesh in 1996, he has been serving as the General Manager of Signet Enterprises Ltd. and Scotia Services Ltd. He also serves as a Director of Meem Dresses (PVT.) Ltd.
Mr. Shahid Mahmood Loan
Nominated Director, AKFED
Mr. Shahid Mahmood Loan has a banking experience with Habib Bank Limited (HBL) spreading over a period of 40 years in all segments of banking. He has extensively worked in the overseas on various coveted assignments i.e. Head of Offshore Banking in Bahrain and CEO of Himalayan Bank Ltd., Nepal (Joint Venture of HBL). He also held very senior executive positions in domestic banking sector and worked as Senior Executive Vice President & Head of the Audit & Inspection and also as Global Treasurer. Presently he is serving as the Chairman of Board of Directors of Kirghistan Investment & Credit Bank and also holding directorship of New Jubilee Insurance Company of Pakistan. He is on the board of IPDC as a Director since May 2007.
Amin H. Manekia
Nominated Director, AKFED
Mr. Amin H. Manekia was born in 1961. Mr. Manekia was educated in India and USA. He graduated from Sydenham College obtaining 1st Class in B.Com. He completed his MBA (majoring in Finance & Marketing) from Babson College, Wellesley, USA. Mr. Manekia has vast and diversified expertise in the field of Corporate & Business operations. He pioneered the concept of automatic beverage dispensing machines in India. He also geared the import and marketing of the automatic beverage machines. He was closely involved with distribution, import and marketing of various food products. He also has his expertise in institutional catering. Mr. Manekia was a Member of the Aga Khan Economic Planning Board for India from 1990 to 1996. He also chaired the organization from 1996 to 2002. He served as a Member of the National Council for India. He also served as a Director of Development Credit Bank Limited of India.
Ms. Ashraf Ali
Nominated Director, AKFED
Ms. Ashraf Ali is a Masters in Political Science from the University of Dhaka. She worked for British Airways as Sales Manager for 22 years and took early retirement in 2000. During her tenure with British Airways she won many awards for outstanding performances. She is involved with community work and served as the President of the Aga Khan National Council for Bangladesh from 1993-1999 and a member of the National committee, Aga Khan Foundation Bangladesh during this period. She is a Director on the Board of IPDC since October 2006.
Mr. Mominul Islam
Managing Director and CEO
Mr. Mominul Islam (35) is holding the position of Managing Director and CEO of IPDC of Bangladesh Limited since 04 January 2012. Mr. Islam joined IPDC in the year 2006 as Head of Operations of the company. During his tenure at IPDC, he has played pivotal role in reshaping the organization through strategic planning, organizational restructuring, automation, process reengineering, control and compliance, service quality etc. In July 2008, Mr. Islam was promoted to Deputy Managing Director of the Company assuming greater responsibility of business and operation. Prior to joining IPDC he worked in American Express Bank (AEB) and Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) for more than seven years with an enriching career in different areas of the Banks e.g. General Banking, Reengineering, Service Quality, Risk Management, Project Management, Business Contingency Planning etc. During his tenure at AEB he went through the Six Sigma Black Belt training at Brighton, UK and managed several Six Sigma projects for AEB Bangladesh, Singapore, UK, Hong Kong, India and USA.
