Mr. Md. Anwarul Alam is a nominated Director by the Government in the Board of IPDC Finance Limited and also member of Board Audit Committee. He is presently serving as Additional Secretary at the Ministry of Industries. Mr. Alam has played pivotal role in wide range of government positions in his long career for more than 26 years. Mr. Alam has worked on different Project Planning of Government which includes formulation of Development Project Proposal (DPP) and Technical Assistance Project Proposal (TPP) as well as Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation of the Projects. Mr. Alam has served as (1) Deputy Chief and Deputy Project Director of General Economics Division in Planning Commission under Ministry of Planning, (2)­ Senior Assistant Chief in Socio-economic Infrastructure Division of Planning Commission Under Ministry of Planning, (3) Senior Assistant Chief (planning) and Project Director on different Programs of Government in Ministry of Women and Children Affairs (MOWCA).

Qualifications:

• B.S.S. (Honors) in Political Science from University of Dhaka.
• M.S.S. in Political Science from University of Dhaka.
• MSS in Political Science from Flinders University, Australia.
• Graduate Diploma in Gender and Development from Flinders University, Australia.
