ODI captain of Bangladesh National Cricket Team Mashrafe Mortaza’s Narail Express Foundation and the first private financial institution of Bangladesh IPDC Finance Limited signed a three-year partnership agreement on Thursday. The signing ceremony was held in the capital. Chairman of Narail Express Foundation Mashrafe and Managing Director and CEO of IPDC Finance Ltd Mominul Islam signed the agreement papers on behalf of their business entities. IPDC Finance Ltd GM and Head of Business Rizwan D Shams, Head of Corporate Communication Mahzabin Ferdous and other officials from both the organisation were present on the occasion. Later on a press conference Mashrafe said: “We see a dream of changing the education, health, ICT, tourism, culture and sports of the people of Narail through Narail Express Foundation. The foundation can’t implement this dream alone. I warmly welcome IPDC Finance Ltd to help us in giving trainings to the talented players of Narail. I hope that, the relation with IPDC with Narail Express Foundation stays strong in future.’’ Under the agreement, IPDC Finance has committed to be a mutually exclusive partner in the Narail Express’s vision to provide sports training in the district. IPDC Finance will deliver all kind of support to Narail Express Foundation to ensure the best in class sports training facility in Narail. The foundation shall begin with a cricket and football academy in its initial stage. It is expected that 60 students will be trained within the age group of 16 to 18 years.
