IPDC FINANCE PAYS TRIBUTE TO THE FATHER OF THE NATION ON
NATIONAL MOURNING DAY
On the day of 15th August, we remember the tragic event when Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the revered father of our nation, and several members of his family were martyred. The charismatic leader guided our country through the liberation war and the challenging post-war period, during which millions of our people endured immense suffering. His faith in the people of Bangladesh and his optimistic spirit served as a profound source of inspiration for the nation, helping us overcome numerous obstacles in the years following independence.
As we pay homage to the enduring legacy of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and observe the National Mourning Day on the 15th of August, IPDC Finance undertakes different endeavors, seeking to immortalize his memory in our hearts.
IPDC Finance honoured the remarkable legacy of Bangabandhu and remembered his tragic demise by exhibiting a display board in front of the head office at Gulshan Avenue.
All employees of IPDC Finance, both at the head office and its branches, wore black badges throughout the month of mourning as a symbol of remembrance and tribute to the martyrdom of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
IPDC Finance organized a discussion session in which all its employees actively participated, focusing on the life and enduring legacy of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
IPDC Finance has donated a month-long food supply for the 50 children and staff of Ucchash School set in Shon Pocha Char, Bogura. The school was set up in 2018 by IPDC Finance in partnership with Amal Foundation to ensure the education of the underprivileged children of the remote area.
IPDC Finance has planted trees at Pear Ali University College in Mawna, Gazipur in line with its vision to contribute to reducing the 'greenhouse effect'.
